Ordering Sweet Treats

Mixing, rolling, cutting, baking, and decorating….cookie making is a very labor intensive craft.  Many hours, over a few days, are spent on just one dozen cookies.

*Please note:  The above is a general guideline.  Cookies don't fit neatly into size categories.  Prices depend on both size AND complexity of design. Most of my cookie cutters range around 3 inches in size, however I do have many that are sized within the 4 inch range and limited availability of cutters sized around 2 inches.

For those who are working within a specific budget, inquire about my cookie sets. This would give you a few different designs (both detailed and simple) and sized cookies (2-4") within your minimum dozen. This allows you to balance your budget and still have a cute set of cookies for your event. I am always willing to brainstorm designs to incorporate your needs and meet your budget!

Cookie orders are available for pick up, by appointment on date set at time of order. Unfortunately I cannot take orders out of state due to Arizona food laws.

Two dozen minimum order. Five dozen maximum order….sorry, my schedule can’t accommodate more at this time.

Gluten-free options are available, but cost an additional $4.00 per dozen cookies ordered.

Other cookie flavors offered: Almond, Pumpkin (seasonal), Chocolate, Gingerbread (seasonal), and Chocolate chip.

I do not offer discounts on large orders as they require much more time and work.

Due to Copyright Laws, I am unable to sell treats with licensed characters. However, if you are having a themed party featuring licensed characters, I can work with you on a design(s) that relate to the theme and that coordinate with the color scheme.

Allergy Warning:

Aside from my gluten free cookies (though cross contamination can occur). My cookies contain wheat, milk (butter), and egg.  Though my basic sugar cookies do not contain nuts, they are baked in a kitchen that does use nuts as an ingredient at times.  Some of my ingredients are prepared and packaged in a facility that may come into contact with Wheat/Gluten, Eggs, Dairy or Dairy Products, Peanuts, Tree Nuts and Soy. If you are severely allergic to any of these ingredients, I suggest using another bakery that would better suite your allergy needs.

Storage:

Sugar cookies should be stored in a cool, dry place. Heat and humidity can cause the colors to bleed. Airtight containers are recommended for cookies if they won’t be served within a couple days of pick-up. Keep cookies out of direct sunlight, the sun can fade the colors.

Sugar cookies have a pretty long shelf life and will stay tasking fresh for up to two weeks. If you won’t be serving the cookies for at least a week or two, or if you have leftover cookies that you don’t want to go bad, try putting them in a Ziploc bag and then into an airtight container and store them in your freezer. When you want to thaw them, take them out of the freezer the night before and let them thaw within the airtight container until they are room temperature. Opening the container prior to them being thawed can result in condensation building inside and causing the cookies to get damp and colors to bleed. Please note: Icing can sometimes (not always) take on a slight blotchy appearance (especially darker colors).

One dozen minimum order. Three dozen maximum order….. sorry, my schedule can’t accommodate more at this time.

Allergy Warning:

Chocolate covered Oreos do contain Oreos in them therefore they contain wheat, and possibly dairy and egg.  Some of the ingredients may also be prepared and packaged in a facility that may come into contact with Wheat/Gluten, Eggs, Dairy or Dairy Products, Peanuts, Tree Nuts and Soy.

Storage:

Keeping Oreos in a cool, dry place is necessary to avoid melting. Airtight containers are recommended for cookies if they won’t be served within a couple days of pick-up.

If you won’t be serving the cookies for at least a week or two, or if you have leftover cookies that you don’t want to go bad, try putting them in an airtight container and store them in your refrigerator. When you want to thaw them, take them out of the fridge the night before and let them sit within the airtight container. If you open too soon, condensation can build up causing the cookies to be wet and possibly damage the smooth surface.
My cupcakes are topped with buttercream. But if requested they can be simply decorated using sprinkles, chocolate decorations, or paper cake toppers (these can be ordered separately through my printable collections). They are delicious, but aren’t extravagantly decorated with fondant. If you are looking for something more elaborate, contact me to see if I can create something that meets your vision, if not I can direct you to a baker who can.

*Please note:
All of my sweet treats are made by hand in my kitchen. I am registered with the Arizona Department of Health Services and certified with my food handler card.

Although I strive for all of my sweet treats to be identical and perfect, naturally they will all have variances and slight imperfections as I make each and every one by hand and not with a machine. Also, bleeding of colors in my icing may occur, especially when using black, red, and white colored icing. To reduce the amount of bleeding, keep the cookies in a cool and dry place. I apologize if this occurs and I do value my customers, but due to the amount of work involved in creating these little works of art, I cannot offer refunds or exchanges.

Payment:
  • Your cookie order is not placed until all details are worked out, an agreement has been signed, and non-refundable 50% deposit or full payment is received.
  • Payment may be made by cash or via PayPal. For those paying through PayPal, you will receive an invoice via email.
  • If ordering several months in advance, a deposit will be taken one month prior to pick up. However an agreement must be signed at the time the order is placed.
Please order and make payment as early as possible to secure your date.
